Some things I've overheard in my neighborhood this week during these hot 70-80 degree days--
Our crazy neighbor to my daughter and her friend after trying to call in our golden retriever, "I don't like your dog anymore."
From some neighbors on the other side of the hedge, "That's too much fire, too much fire..." (They were bbqing.)
From the loud fancy couple in the big house, "I said, 'It's his birthday, his birthday! We need to celebrate with spritzers!'"
