Last night we went to Pancho Sanchez at Jazz Alley. Really incredible music and a fun time all around. We ordered delicious appetizers and a bottle fo Syrah. The man at the table in front of us drank champagne and did the mambo in his seat. One man danced with his baby (kids of all ages are welcome at Jazz Alley) and a woman smelled, swirled, and sipped her wine all evening (we called her the sip-n-swirl girl).
I'm doing the NaPoWriMo and have written one poem, the poem for April 1st.
After this post, I'll be starting my April 2nd poem. I'm amazed how when I *need* to write a poem, I can pull something together, a sort of "watch me pull a rabbit out a hat" trick. Deadlines can do that to me. If I know I need something by a certain date, I'm much more likely to get it done than if I just think I need to get it done sometime in the future.
Not much else here. Some news (not a book) to share soon, I've said that before, but I'm waiting to make sure all the i's are dotted and the t's are crossed.
